Manufactured from high grade aluminium alloy and engineering grade plastics, the A2 delivers an uncompromising balance between strength and agility. With dimensions of 820 x 440 x 570mm and weighing in at a meagre 31 kilos without batteries (37kg when equipped with dual batteries) you might be surprised to learn that the incredibly rugged and durable A2 can support the weight of a fully grown adult (100kg). With applications such as reconnaissance, exploration, investigation and rescue work in mind, the Unitree A2 robot dog can cover the ground quickly – up to 5 m/s and can easily navigate obstacles up to 1 metre in height, whilst also taking steps and slopes comfortably within its stride. Furthermore, the Unitree A2 is fitted with dual LiDAR providing a full 360° of vision and the addition of a HD camera with forward facing light makes this the ideal robot to undertake inspection and searches.
